Nigel has run Halsey Consulting since its inception in 1988. He is one of the UK’s most senior and experienced executive search practitioners...
He has personally handled and managed thousands of successful assignments on behalf of financial institutions large and small, nationally and internationally.
Nigel has written numerous articles and has appeared as a technical and industry expert on current affairs documentaries, here and abroad. He was previously Head of the Human Resources Consulting and Executive Search & Selection Division of KPMG (then Peat Marwick) and then founder and Managing Director of Michael Page City.
After reading classics, he spent his early career in publishing, notably editing Raceform.

As a consequence, we have acted for some of our clients since we were first established, in several cases building complete management teams over a period of years.

We normally agree and fix fees in advance of each assignment or series of assignments. They are not adjusted to reflect the sums negotiated with successful candidates. As a result, clients know that we represent them without any conflicts of interest.
